Babs-Because the fans for this show love it when me and you do thing together.We are the favorite charcaters of this show.
Buster-But we been doing this sense babies.Don't you think your to old to tease me?
Babs-Isn't dawn on you that we sercetly like each othere.But for some reason the nick network always avoid us be together.They make new charcaters to later pair off with.
Buster-You a have point.Like they first try to do to me with Sus Mary.So who are they trying to pair you off with?

Spin-changing -a power related to "fritzing" or "hammerspace". A full-fledged toon has hammerspace, tunnelpainting, fritzing, spin-changing, chucking....

O God, when and where did THIS happen ?
A few fan-fics had Slappy dead of natural causes and Skippy was taking it very hard, mayhaps going off the deep end 'cause he didn't get the professional help he needed to deal with it. Another fan-fic had Dot putting flowers on her brothers' graves and wondering about the others. All the original assosciates were dead; their descendants were around, and Ralph's greatgranddaughter was the gate guard now.
It's unsettling when toons age. Gertie the Dinosaur, the oldest toon of all, died of natural causes very peacefully -at a night club. It got Yakko wondering about his own mortality and Dr. Scratchensniff admitted that nothing is known about Toon longeivity & mortality 'cause Gertie was the first ever to die...

The diabetes thing is in Family; shortly after Wakko gets diagnosed with it, Bugs tells Yakko that Slappy has it as well.

I just reread the pertinent chapter. Slappy says she has it, but she doubtless has type 2 -like me, while Wakko got type 1, which is auto-immune.
There IS a way to prevent type 1, but it requires tests to detect an ongoing auto-immune attack, and then administer excess insulin to cause the stressed pancreas to shut down pending return of insulin levels to normal, inducing the attack to stop. The attack might not resume. Trouble is: how do you detect the ongoing auto-immune attack while there's time?
I'm not comfortable with toons having the same weaknesses as humans. In my own strip, tho long discontinued, each species of manimal presents its own problems as each species of animal it came from has its own diseases. under that humanoid shell is an animal biochemistry.
It's all academic now -the strip has not been done in ~15-16 years. I have gone on to other things. I can't even think of new stories for them, and the same goes for the burn-out on Casper. The entire "Shining Pyramid" epic, runs 1000 pgs, but after it was completed, I burned out and can't revise the last book or do an 11th book on a new theme.

Yeah, type one is very hard to detect since it's the 'sneakiest' type, that attacks both children and adults at any time.
