When you mention the book, I assume you're talking about the part when John, Linda, and the other two Spartans try to board a orbital platform and destroy navigation data, yes?
If this is the scene, might I suggest a Covenant Super Carrier stalking the planet, or at least a dog fight between part of the UNSC fleet and the Covenant. Past that, everything else looks great, and I can't wait to see the finished result.

Yea right before they all leave, there are going to be more Spartans in the image. In the book there were nearly 30 Spartans leaving to defend reach and chief was going to hit the orbital.
