Description
Tomorrow [October 3rd], our lovely vocal professor, (and Canadian opera star) Bonnie Cutsforth-Huber , will be performing a *free!* concert in the Wolf Kuhn Theatre in the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts here on my campus at 7:30pm. She will be performing the US premiere of Canadian composer Lloyd Burritt’s song cycle “Triptych” (Who will be there at the performance!), as well as a piece from Brahms, Mahler and Bolcom.
Accompanying artists will include pianist Arlene Shrut, cellist Andrew Simpson, and saxophonist Bob Scholl.
If you're on campus, nearby campus, or somewhere -somewhat close - in the state of Pennsylvania, I encourage you to come. If you've never heard Dr. Bonnie Cutsforth-Huber sing, you are truly missing out on something absolutely extraordinary!
I will be photographing the event!
This particular image was taken in New York City (in the Lion King tunnel), while we were preparing for Ivyside Pride + Manhattan Concert Productions (MCP) concert at the Avery Fisher Hall - Lincoln Center, March 2014.
