Back in March, I got to meet with the fabulous Judge, Rosemarie Aquilina, after the horrendous Nassar Trial. This woman has single-handedly done more for the justice system in a few months than most people have managed for all the years I've been alive. She radiates beauty, understanding and light, but she's also wicked smart and incredibly strong. Working with her was definitely a highlight from this year, if not my whole career.

After one of the survivors came forth, and told their story, Hon. Aquilina said the quote that stuck out the most "Leave your pain here and go out and do your magnificent things". This statement was something so many survivors needed to hear. Since this shoot, she has been featured in Detroit's SEEN magazine, and has made several appearances as a guest speaker with many more upcoming adventures! It was an honor to have worked with her.
