I got the idea for this pic way back when I first saw TCW episode "Destroy Malevolence". When Anakin and Padme are running away from Super Battledroids and then Obi-Wan calls. Padme is just blasting away at the droids taking care of business while Anakin's talking on the phone
(and I don't care what the series says, Naboo blasters are green dammit!! 
)This deviation is going to be for my "Malevolence" trilogy review. I just need to finish it and write up my review

I'm still in the process of cleaning the lineart for this WIP but it may take awhile before I'm done. I thought I would post an update on it anyway. I redid their eyes with paint shop and I took Anakin's entire right arm and moved it to the left just a little bit. When I drew it, it just didn't look right. This way it makes his shoulders a little broader and gives him a more imposing look.

I've been purchasing "The Clone Wars" DVDs, so I've seen the "Malevolence" trilogy and was quite impressed. They do a good job with that show. I recently finished seeing the "Clone Commandos" DVD and I enjoyed that too because they gave Yoda, a group of stormtroopers, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and Mace Windu their own stories. I especially liked the Mace Windu and Yoda ones because you see them in action instead of being passive observers.

You drew something I never thought possible.. Anakin looking heroic, when he is withing six miles of Padme'.
It totally throws my theory off on how he can be so cool in clone wars and cry so much in Ep 2 and 3
