Description My Fallout 3 character wearing the Merc Troublemaker outfit.

I posted the original sketch of this drawing with my RPG characters sketchdump here Where I explained how the sketch was damaged while I was drinking carbonated water (cherry flovor ) and it sprayed the whole sheet of paper soaked. Here is a new scan of that sketch that better shows the damage done to it

Shortly after it dried I used my mini light table to ink the drawing on to a clean sheet of paper. I haven't posted the new image till now because I wanted to redrawn the laser rifle. I didn't merge the new rifle with the drawing until the day before. I also added the rest of my girl's foot This outfit and the leather armor are definitely my favorite outfits of the game, especially since I have the X-Box version of I don't have access to any of the mods for better outfits. I still need to clean the linework a bit before I can start coloring it.

Nice pic! I always like your Fallout art, you should do more.
Though my Sonja usually wear the Ranger Battle Armor for practical reasons her "casual" look consists of a bandana, Lucky Shades and the Wasteland Legend Outfit.

Thanks. I do have a few ideas for more pics. I also want to draw Charon and Fawkes. I wore the Wasteland Legend Outfit for awhile, but I always seem to come back to the Wander's and Troublemaker outfits

It's kinda odd that the Merc outfits are never actually worn by Mercs in the game, Slavers and townsfolk tend wear them but never the Mercs.

You know, I never realized that Which is surprising since I get most of my merc attire when I massacre the slavers at the Lincoln Memorial.

Meh, I go the whole hog and slaughter them at the source, Paradise Falls. Once I've rescued everyone there that is, it's sooooo satisfying taking out Eulogy and his crew.

Yeah, Paradise Falls is pretty fun. I do a little shopping before I free the slaves and have to kill all the slavers. Hehehe, my girl doesn't look too bad in Eulogy's suit

Hehe, I remember I one time I waited till nightfall, used a stealth boy and snuck into each building assassinating every slaver I found. Hell when I got to the barracks I spiced things up a little by slipping grenades into sleeping slaver's pockets!

I use the Charmer and the Adventurer myself.
Suggested perks to go with this ensemble?
Tough and Cyborg from the generic level up list and if you work all of Moira's Wasteland survival guide jobs and answer using either Strength or Endurance answers you'll get 4-6% more for resistance. Translation? You'll have a perma Talon Comp armor on at all times, no matter the condition of your clothes and armor. 10%+10%+4-6% = 24-26%

Means less dmg taken from crap that loves to shred armor (Deathclaws -_- ) and you'll free up 15-25 lbs of weight shold you choose to go armorless.

It looks like you got Red's Headband up there, which is the only headband I found that lets all your hair hang out (I love it so much).

I also like the Chinese Hat which is called an "Ushanka" in Russian (You-Shank-a! What every knife wielding Russian girl should wear)

Smuggler's End is the sexiest of the NRG weapons as far as I can tell, sharing with Plunkett's Valid Points one of the lowest VATS cost in the game (6-9 shots in vats will take down nearly anything, or at least severely cripple it).

Havn't tried the Wazer Rifle mostly because I hate Little Lamplight's foul mouthed li'l bastards. I'll be trying it on my current toon who is going Ninja Perk.

You can get the upgrades by purchasing the $20.00 disc from a game shop or probably even online. I've seen them in my neighborhood for $20, anyway.

Adventurer + Red's headband or Charmer + You-Shank-A! ftw

I don't think I've ever completed all of Moira's quests (it's been awhile since the last time I've played Fallout 3).

Actually, the first time I rescued Red and Shorty (I think that's his name) it never occurred to me to take her bandana I actually found a gray (more likely a dirty white) bandana from this guy in the metro tunnels who was trying to make mole rat meat taste better. As soon as he saw me he started shooting so I had to turn him dead and took his bandana The second time I did the rescue mission I actually brought extra sets of leather armor to give to Red and Shorty, I traded Red's bandana for a combat helmet and I gave her the special Plasma Rifle, Shorty the special Chinese assualt rifle, and I used Ol' Painless and the Wazer Rifle. Though you have to remember to take your stuff back before you reach Big Town otherwise they keep it. But when I color this pic (hopefully soon) the bandana will be red.

I never knew about the Smuggler's End. I'll have to remember that whenever I play again

You have to go through Little Lamplight in order to progress in the main quest and the first time I went through I really felt like field goal kicking some of those little brats. Especially Mayor McGreedy. Now I totally support the game not allowing you to kill any of the children, but damn, some of them deserved a good baseball bat to the face The Wazer Wifle is fairly easy to get, you just need to find Biwwy and just give him 500 caps (the "child at heart" perk isn't worth it just to get it free).

Ooh, good timing, I'm just about to cook the steaks. I've had Wazer before, it's just too damn expensive a gun to use when you can only get spare parts by clubbing Powered armor goons. To snag Smuggler's End, take the dog with you into Elder Lyon's bed room in the Citadel. Have Dogmeat search for a weapon and have him keep searching till you get the Smuggler's end. You can also just break into the closet(I think) or get some bozo to follow you in there and shoot the weapon out of his hand, destroying it, forcing him to grab the Smuggler's end from the locker FOR you. Then just shoot that out of his hand, put your weapon away, he'll leave letting you take smuggler's end. Always be sure to save first, though, and I'm not talking the Auto save, either.

Cool. I'll be sure to do that next time I'm at the Citadel. Thanks

Well, I did freak a little right after it happened, but this wasn't the first time I redid a drawing by using my light table. However, this was the first time I had to literally save a drawing by using my light table.
