Thanks. This pic was actually a fan art request which I rarely do. Although his race is obscure in the Berserk world, I chose to make him like the Japanese in our world cause I thought it was appropriate at the time. I didn't know too much about Guts then; also notice the eyepatch (which I found isn't a normal thing).

I have to admit that about a week ago I never heard of Guts. Someone asked about him and I thought he was pretty cool so I painted him ^_^
I based it mainly off the cosplay that people posted online. I gathered many pictures of him and looked at the toys online too. Then I went painting my version without the armor. I haven't decided if I want to paint an armor version...

well it's good work
I was just wondering because in the actual manga he lost his eye but keeps it shut all the time instead of wearing an eyepatch
He only wore one in one special...one-shot chapter outside the original story
doesn't change the fact that your work is awesome though^^

One of my best friends in highschool loved this series so much. When we were younger I made him a custom Guts decal for his bmw. Sadly he passed away when we were still young. This pic is so awesome and brought back a lot of great memories of him.
