This is amazing, I loved Sunshine! Robin McKinley is one of my favorite authors, I've read almost everything by her and "Beauty" is my favorite novel .

Have you read Deerskin? It is my second favorite!! My 1st, Beauty, my third Sunshine and my 4th her new one: Pegasus. It is fantastic!! This piece is wonderful, I loved the look of disbelief on Sunshine's face as his arm entered the light!

Deerskin is my favourite Robin McKinley by FAR...
I won't be able to say how much I liked Pegasus until I read the second half... we shall see!
I'm glad you liked this!

Which ones have you read?
Actually your "Edward and Jane" picture gave me a feel for Constantine, so I should thank you for THAT inspiration : )

I've read The Hero and the Crown, The Blue Sword, and Beauty. I dont think I have read Spindle's End... that's one of her's right?

And which one is Constantine???

Yeah Spindle's End is a Sleeping Beauty retelling. I haven't read Blue Sword - although I probably should have since EVERYONE seems to rave about it. My favourite is Deerskin which is one of her saddest, but also one of the most beautiful.
What's surprising about her is she can do traditional fantasy, like Hero and Beauty; but also very modern sounding fantasy, like this book and her other, Dragonhaven.

Oh yeah - I guess I hadn't added that in the description. Constantine is a vampire (on the left).

Ah yes, I see Well, glad to inspire!

I wanted to read Deerskin as well. I have to admit she is not my favorite fantasy writer, not that I am a proficient on the fantasy genre by any stretch, but I just prefer authors like Sherwood Smith or J.R.R. Martin a bit more.
