Bored one night, wanted to draw something without thinking too hard or looking at a ref. So I put my Sonic & Sally drawing skills to the test. I liked my results

OH MYZERS! This is jam packed full of old school goodness! 
Excellent pic of these 2 together, especially since they're seen so often and one would think it be a bit too much on the conventional side to be seeing so much of a duo of their calibre
Like how you keep the authenticity of it all together, makes me smile when someone who already knows what they're doing actually bothers to make an attempt at getting it right first time round 
Some of your magnificent colour ability would give it such justice, but it's near enough perfect as it is, well done Senoir JayLesch!

There is something charming about this picture in particular... I suppose I lucked out on capturing their personalities.
Alas I really do need to revisit some of these sketches to digitally touch up and color, I've known that for awhile v.v But every bit of encouragement from folks like you helps!

I've done that a couple times 
I usually take a second to check the person's profile for their gender before putting my foot in my mouth.
lol Be patient and wait school out is my advice. Unfortunately there's pretty much nothing but drama for you if you try to get into anything during school.
Keep your eyes peeled for a good guy who's got his head on straight when you're both in your 20s

Y'know, I'm a chronic over-thinker myself. I have limitless concepts for drawings I never have the will or time to try my patience at getting "right". But I find sometimes the purest form of artistic relief I can find is to just draw, doodle by any other word. And often, the results will turn out pretty stinkin' good. Very spontaneous and non-forced at the least.
