Description This piece took me... a long time. The best part of 3 weekends really.
For those who haven't played Beyond Good and Evil, I'd suggest you do, it's an amazing game.
For those who have played it, yes, I'm fully aware that that's not Jade's natural pose for her super power, get off my back, I like it like this.
And yes, technically it's meant to be glowing a slightly darker and slightly pinker shade of red, but this just works.

The Domz took a while, the Eye thing, even longer, Jade... not so much. I was going to add Pey'j and Double H somewhere, but they would have messed up the composition. I was also going to give you a really elaborate background, but the longer I worked on the piece the betterr the black background became.

No, it wasn't. I did this years ago and was too lazy to draw them all, so some of them are warped versions of others. I'm better now, I don't cut corners anymore.

WOW! You really captured the feel of the game, and I'm so glad you went with what felt right as opposed to following every technical detail on coloring, pose, etc. Often times people make their work slave to accuracy and miss the spirit of it all. Great job on this amazing piece!

I've never seen anyone who has actually played that game. It's great, this looks like it could be artwork for the booklet or something, good job.

I heard they were making a Beyond Good and Evil 2. I haven't heard anything for ages though.

It was meant to be a trilogy, but bad sales of the first game meant that's gonna be hard to do now.

it has a very good three dimensional feel.
and the composition is great, I think the glare in the middle is too much. you should bring it down a notch. it's hard to look at much around it. I think the backround is great, but could use alittle movement, or off coloring just to make it look real, and not like a flat black backround. the shadow and everything looks really great. I think this comes together really well.
