Description I think (or hope) its quite obvious he was based on a Whale Shark, and a Jumbo Jet.

------------------

Basic Stage: Sharkruise - The Voyage Pokemon
Type: Water
Ability: Filter/Storm Drain
Name Meaning: Shark-Cruise
Evolves: N/A

Traversing the sea at a leisurely pace, it filter-feeds on tiny organisms which are sucked into its huge mouth. These PokΓ©mon ceremoniously circle the world's oceans once a year, creating a great coo amongst divers.

What's a "coo?"

this would make more sense as a steel and water type. or you could make a new evolution form of this if you can and make that water and steel. And also is there a way to get inside of it or not because if yes I would LOVE to use this fakemon.

I just don't feel that because it is based on something made of metal, and has sharp angles - that that should make it steel type. It's like saying something with green fur should be grass type, because it looks like grass.

I see your point but most submarines are made of different metal materials (just saying)

May I have your permission to include your Fakemon in a fanart compilation I'm drawing of ridculously well-designed Fakemon I'm drawing? It's strictly fanart.

Awwww, I prefer the older version better. I kind of like the idea of pokemon bearing a similarity to animals and not really machines. I think this one looks a bit too machine like.

Nevertheless great job on it. Looking forward to more!

I like the design but i think you should change the type, perhaps steel/flying as it is a plane ( and I'm a fan on PokΓ©mon based on aquatic things but aren't water types.)

JoshKH92 In reply to Vespitomb [2013-07-06 16:57:38 +0000 UTC]

I am also a fan of non water type aquatics. However this thing is not made of steel, nor does it fly, so Steel/Flying doesn't really make sense. Its just a big fish that happens to look like a plane.

I don't know which one I like more :u
The original looked more like a whale shark, and this one looks more like the jumbo jet.
I've loved both designs all together

JoshKH92 In reply to JustFox13 [2013-06-29 11:35:27 +0000 UTC]

Glad you picked up on that. One of the main reasons I changed it was because it looked a bit too much like a whale shark. Glad you like them.

Snappy-K [2013-06-27 22:27:16 +0000 UTC]

it doesnt look much like a steel type to me, but it does look like a flying type. If its water type, i think it should have some blue splashed on it, otherwise the design is a bit misleading.

great idea, and awesome fake

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshKH92 In reply to Snappy-K [2013-06-27 22:35:49 +0000 UTC]

It doesn't fly though? Blue would be so predictable - I'm sick of blue water types!. Glad you like the design though.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Snappy-K In reply to JoshKH92 [2013-06-28 02:46:59 +0000 UTC]

i know its not flying type, im just saying it looks to me like a fling type even though it isn't.

And i don't mean the whole thing should be blue, just a few of the markings around it

Blasphemous-Joy [2013-06-27 22:24:55 +0000 UTC]

I like this one! It reminds me of Wailord or Algaetor, in how it combines an aquatic creature with a mode of transportation.

QuickSand5 [2013-06-27 22:16:12 +0000 UTC]

I agree with Regreme. because of the inside of his mouth being extremely straight it suggests it being a metal type. Great design none the less.

JoshKH92 In reply to QuickSand5 [2013-06-27 22:23:51 +0000 UTC]

Thanks. I just don't understand why angular = steel?

QuickSand5 In reply to JoshKH92 [2013-06-28 00:25:16 +0000 UTC]

i also thought Porygon BUT its the colour that puts the suggestion to metal.

Silent4everBeatless [2013-06-27 20:48:44 +0000 UTC]

I think drawing Sharkruise with its mouth open would have given it more of a Whale Shark look as well as an organic feel. Otherwise, I really like the new design ^.^

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

JoshKH92 In reply to Silent4everBeatless [2013-06-27 21:57:58 +0000 UTC]

Its mouth is hardly closed? I didn't want it to actually BE a whale shark either. Glad you like the design though

Silent4everBeatless In reply to JoshKH92 [2013-06-27 22:15:48 +0000 UTC]
