This is a graphic print of an original oil painting of mine.
All my works have a heavy digital influence, I'm intrigued by the endless capabilities of editing software such as photoshop that allow us to create such technically precise digital artworks/edits. My paintings translate this aspect of digital manipulation onto canvas, creating a contract between the relatively recent introduction of computerised artwork and ancient practice of painting. However each painting also has its own specific topic that it addresses, usually this topic will be surrounding psychology and the human mind.
This painting is a representation of the complex and beautiful nature of the human personality/consciousness. This precise, bubbly, technicolour mess is a simplistic attempt at portraying what our individual personalities could potentially look like. However all of our personalities vary, the continuation of this series will include a variation of darker, lighter and more complex representations.
