I think the eye should be long (roundless) and like of green or turqouise (pokemon chrizard's eyes are really blue) but your drwing is good

I don't like this (I've been a fan of other stuff of yours). I think Charizard loses his personality when the top of his head is soft and curvaceous. I always imagined the things on the top of his head to be hard and horn-like. The curves of them here come across as similar to puppy dog ears which makes me think they're soft. I would imagine evolution to give him more intimidating-looking ears/horns/whatever.

lol i can assure you they are not soft in any way, i based them on bulls horns only facing backwards with a straighter curvage, there is nothing soft about it, and they are horns no ears

Awesome profile.
I really like how the orange has a nice earthy tone to it that matches the realistic style. Also like the curve of the horns. The eyes are very dinosaur-y, appropriate for the dinosaur style face(which has deeper ground in reality than a draconic one).
Unfortunately, the eyes also feel a bit small. I feel this way mainly because with the exception of bats my mind tends to associate flyers with very good eyesight. Animals that are said to have good eyesight tend to have proportionally big eyes. I assume it's because the larger eyes are able to 'pick up' more info than smaller ones? This video explains it way better than I can at around 3:29 onward .
Anyway, keep up the great work.

if you have a gander at my charmeleon pic you can read 'Charmeleons (like all the Char family) have forward facing eyes and bonocular vision, this makes them very recorcful hunters. unfortunatly when they evolve into charizards they loose their amazing vision and gain flight.' They still have decent vision but are mainly scavangers/ ambush predators, so they rely more on their brute strength rather than their cunning and vision

Okay I found the Charmeleon picture that mentions that. Unfortunate sacrifice. I assumed it was the opposite sense the uncolored version of this picture says this: "They have keen vision like a hawk or eagle."

thats true, a mistake on my part, however velociraptors are said to have smaller eyes yet have binocular vision?

let me just say- I love what you're doing here. I always wanted to depict pocket monsters in a more "biologically sound" light. Awesome work - keep it up!

the one thing i like about your charizards is that you make them look like a dinosaur instead of a generic dragon which makes them seem more realistic to me
