well, in my phone a LG cookie, I enter to the gallery, visualize the image and simply choose from the up menu the option to place as wallpaper, since this phone doesn't have an screensaver.
Tell me what model it's yours and maybe I can give you a more accurate answer hehe

i don't think so, basically, this screensaver it's a .gif image, for a computer screensaver you need to have an .scr file
