I know that there some people wondering what's with this pic spam today and why on Earth I'm awake at this hour.The fact is that I spent most of my Friday drinking coffee and now I cannot really sleep. And I'm quite hyper and drawing like a maniac. Bear with me.
Mycroft <3 You shouldn't mess with older mr. Holmes, as he's not only cabable ruining rest of your life, but your children and childrens chidren as well. Without even moving a muscle. Mycroft is awesome like that.
I'm so worried about that new Guy Richie film... I cannot really say anything good about the first one (ok, I cannot either say it was the worst Sherlock Holmes incarnation ever, and the film was pretty neat actionfilm, but seriously, WTF), but the second one will haven Stephen Fry as Mycroft.
Stephen Fry. I cannot remember anything that he couldn't pull off. I adore him like a God. But why, why he's on Sherlock Holmes movie that I know I won't like a bit? Well, maybe he'll make it better and watchable, I hope.
Though, if there's going to even one action scene involving Mycroft I will jump off from Jackcandle's Brinde into Ounaskoski and kill myself. It's not worth to live in a world of action!Mycroft.
Well... maybe I could handle it if hit someone with his umbrella (thanks alot BBC, now I cannot think Mycroft without an umbrella), but kick-boxing is so out of character it's in it's own galaxy.

Musta tuntuu, että action!Mycroftilta säästytään... Tai siis mielestäni Stephen Fryn kohdalla kick poxing olisi melkeinpä rinnastettavissa laulamiseen, eli sitä ei tehdä kuin kerran jos pakotetaan, eikä mielellään edes silloin. Mutta kyllä mä ainakin menen katsomaan sen elokuvan ihan Mycroftin takia...

I'm glad I'm not the only Holmes fan who's not enamoured of the Robert Downey Jr version. Why go for the lowest common denominator of explosions and Hollywood glitter when you can have the timeless finnesse of Jeremy Brett??
That being said, I may just orgasm to death when I see Stephen play Mycroft in the new one. (An action!Mycroft, though trite, could possibly be epic.)

Indeed <3 Mycroft is so so gooood. He's better version of whole humankind.
I've deducted that's no use of fighting Hollywood when it comes to their block busters, they do what they like and if you disagree you can only cry and whimper.
But indeed, Stephen Fry!Mycroft will make me fangasm so badly I might go blind.

Pretty much same for me, Jude Law was actually rather handsome Watson - but I seriously cannot stand RDJ and his unshaved face. And he's too short xDD I rather like my Holmes slim, tall and well kept (unless he'ss on drugs, when he can hung around in night gown xD)

I kind of undertand why Richie went that direction in his movie, there certainly is arguments in his side whenyou think about the booksand how they describe Holmes as athletic, drug addict and impossible personality but gosh... it just seemed to lost everything that makes holmes Holmes. And I cannot even describe the butchering they did to Irene.
I want my Holmes as Holmes and my House as House, no weird mixups.

The fact that Stephen Fry is going to play Mycroft is the only reason that I`m even thinking about watching the next Guy Richie Sherlock Holmes movie
