Art trade with dear =MWaters , though I feel terribly bad that I failed with her request again, as she asked Nightcrawler doing something BAFM and cool, but I found out that I really, really suck at drawing any sort of action. I really tried, but my sketches looked so horrible that I could cry. So I tried to make it look nice by other means.Though I happened to fail rather a lot with this picture, as I used too thin paper to begun with, as watercolors didn't really work. Then I couldn't even make him look even a little bit like Alan Cummings. It's only beause I used my old comic books as reference. If you don't like it I'm only happy to try again, this was my first try with Nightcrawler anyway. I just lovelovelove X-Men, but I never have really drawn anything from it... I've done few doodles about Wolverine i know that, but never Nightcrawler, even thoug dear Kurt is one of the most awesome mutants there is. He's blue, for crying out loud, how's that not cool xD

I think that pose is wonderful. Action poses are really hard to do! Hard to think of, hard to draw...so I don't care. But this is a very typical pose for him! His hair looks cool too hehe. I love it! He does have such a fun look, though. Gotta love that blue skin and the tail!

I really tried to do something special. Though i really did use too thin paper as I had to do little bit more computer magic that I intended. But I really tried to make him look like himself even though I've never drawn him before.

well that's what so great about comic characters! They look like whatever the artist decides. As long as you get certain details right, as you did, then everything else is up to you! You should see the variety in looks for Killer Croc, for example. I've seen him drawn as a big buff black man with scales, and I've seen him drawn as a giant, barely sentient crocodile, but both are just as accurate. Such fun!
Could I get you to draw some satyrs for me? Could you do Mark and Anthony? Kissing or something sweet? Or you could just do Anthony.

Well that's certainly a bonus when it comes to fangirling comic books, as there much more freedom to choose characters appearance, as thereäs not stricly a one actor you have to mimic. Though, I'm famous for getting bored in one way so quickly that it's amazing that I ever get draws someone same way twice.
Hey, kissing satyrs, that's awesome (and because I always need more reasons to draw kissing, because that's what I do apparently).
Hmm, what would I like... well, heck, could you do Jeeves and Wooster for me? As acted by Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie of course.

ya, it can be liberating to draw a cartoon or comic character because of the freedom. I love drawing actors, too, but you gotta do it just right.

Hmm, It's pretty much same with me which one is on top, but usually Bertie is such a noob and doesn't realise what's going on and his valet is running the show behind him, so that suggests something^^
