AJSHHSHS THIS MEANS A LOT TO ME!!!! THANK YOU ;;;;;;W;;;;;;!!!!! YEAHHHH like, I didn't even know about this either until a few months ago... One of my mutuals on my other twitter account and I were talking about OPM and she brought it up and I was like... !!!!!!?????? WHAT???!!! She mentioned that some of the animators that worked on season one will be working on the new season but still... I've been worried ever since because the animation for OPM WAS EXCEPTIONAL???! SO FLUID AND STYLISTIC LIKE???? The animation was one of the reasons why it was SUCH A SUCCESS TO BEING WITH ORZ. MADHOUSE is so good... I've heard many people say that MADHOUSE hardly ever animates anything past one season, regardless of success... I went to check and they were right... Only a few series that they have ever animted have second season or more animated by them TOT. The studio that is supposed to animate it this time around I guess, have known works up their sleeve's but most of their shit, I've never seen before or the animation from their past works is so, so at best... If a studio like TRIGGER or Gainax had the green light to animate season two, then I would NOT be worried at all since they are just as amazing as MADHOUSE!!!! We'll see ORZ... I'm rambling on but ajkkahahhsh.

Ooh I see...it's good that some of the same animators are returning to work on it, but I definitely get why you're worried.
Madhouse did such a good job at translating the same style while making it work well as an animation that it's pretty hard to compete with it haha ;;
I didn't know that about Madhouse though, I wonder why they don't do second seasons much..they are so good it's really a shame ;;
What is the name of the new studio handling OPM? I want to check it out and see for myself. But from what you're saying that's really disappointing ;;; But also I would like to give them a chance too ha ;;
YOO IF TRIGGER HANDLED ID BE..SO STOKED I LOVE THEIR ACTION SHOTS THEY WOULD PULL IT OFF SO WELL?? maybe they couldn't have gotten a bigger studio because the 1st season didn't do as well as they hoped?

AJAHSHHS I LOVE YOURS, TOO ;3;!!!!! I really DO hope that some animators come back since they actually did have experience working on the first season... MH is so boss like holy hell??? I would LOVE to know the reason why they don't do second seasons after myself... It's so weird to me because they literally always do such an amazing job???? Everything they animate is always so gorgeous and most of their projects are always huge successes so it's like a huge "????" to me as to why they don't animate entire series? OPM was a HUGE success and was literally anime of the year so I doubt it's the sales lmfao. I guess Madhouse likes to start off fresh with new shows so that it can look like they have a huge roaster of things that they've done instead of too much of the same thing, though, I don't see how that can be a problem either unless it makes them look like they can only animate one type of genre and style of anime? But they've proven themselves to be quite versatile so idk???

The studio is J.C.Staff... I guess you can look at what else they've animated to get a feel... I'd like to see how they animate their action scenes and swift movements because OPM's animation was honestly godly? Even the minor scenes where Saitama would be running and other minor animation sequences had motion lines in it and it didn't look lazy, unlike most anime that you would normally see. UGHHH. I want to have faith though...

TRIGGER IS TOO POWERFUL! They always do well! They could have easily picked up OPM and I would feel so blessed and worry-free ahshsjjd. Someone could've because OPM was and still is pretty popular... We'll just have to wait and see and HOPE that the first episode looks good TOT! PLUS... METAL BAT AND GAROU'S FIGHT IS COMING RIGHT UP AND THEY CAN'T MESS IT UP AHSHHHDH. I don't want Metal Bat and Garou to look like QUALITY KIRA AND KILLER QUEEN when KQ first appeared but David pro get's a pass since they handle the source material for JOJO so well anyways and I always have faith in them, regardless of how wonky the faces might appear at times because of the lack of budget sometimes...

I've been MIA since I haven't has much to talk about or any art to post and I've been feeling kind of bad about it tbh but I want to be active there again ;3;!!!!!

I think that makes a lot of sense? Like especially since they are doing so well, they have the luxury to be selective about the projects they work on.
And like even if something is super cool, it's always nice to start fresh and work on something new too so I can't judge them for not sticking to one thing all the time.
But still I wonder how these decisions are being made...

Oh I see..I'll check their stuff out more in depth later, but the style of their previous works from just google search is really different from opm...
Yeah it's gonna be super hard to beat Madhouse tbh, not even beat them tbh like just matching up to their standard of quality. 

YESS I TRUST TRIGGER W MY LIFE TBH!! especially for a series like OPM it would have matched up so well ;;
OMG I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT..AND LIKE GAROU IN GENERAL ;; I hope they don't mess up his intro he doesn't deserve that..especially for anime only people they're not gonna see how cool he really is;;;
If anything, I feel like the first episode is probably going to be the most HQ to draw people in and then the quality kind of dwindles as the season goes on ;;
That's most lower budget series seems to be but I hope they can keep a consistent decent quality if anything ;; don't blow everything in the beginning...
LOL yea David Pro handled the style really well imo, like it looks super difficult to translate it so that it can animate. But they did it and it looks quite like Araki's style, plus the budget thing too so it's pretty forgivable. 

Man I feel the same tbh, like besides rting art and doing those question memes I haven't really put out anything of quality there in awhile..
Don't feel bad about it! Sometimes there's just nothing to post about and that's fine^^ If anything I think it's a good thing to not be there all the time haha ;;
I just hope you are doing well still, and I'm pretty sure plenty of people will be happy when you do post again.
