this is really dramatic, I see it like a boat floating pretty peacefully down a river but loads of chaos on the banks, war or something. I really dig the colours

This is so beautiful. It's hard to say what I see in it... The stair-like beige in the background on either side- it sort of reminds me of a wall. The fluid break in the middle at the bottom- it sort of reminds me of a river. And the red going into it makes me think of blood. And the bit of wall falling into the river makes me think of the Berlin wall. The blood on either side makes me think of the sacrifices for freedom at the Berlin wall. The light on the other side of it, through all the fog of destruction, symbolizes the freedom of the W. Berlin wall, for me. I really like this piece. By the way, how did you do the "river". The affect you used with the paints there is amazing. How do you do the white "splatters", and do you outline some of the objects in your pieces with black ink? Just wondering how you acheive the beauty in your paintings. But "a magician never reveals his secrets", so I'll more than understand if you want to keep that to yourself
