Doing up some graphic cover images for The Neckbolts roster!
1st off is that saintly slasher Tailgate with a quick look at Dead Man's Curve. I'm trying out some simpler approaches to these images. It's pretty good practice working with fewer elements than I'm used too.

I feel Tailgate would be the "main" character out of all the Neckbolts. He's a heroic, saintly slasher, so for me at least that means he murders people before they rape or kill someone, than feeds them to his truck, and there are a LOT of murderers and rapists out there....

he is the most relate-able out of the neckbolts so will most likely become the "head" so to speak. i like your take! That's what i was going for.

Why are they named 'Neckbolts'?

a few reasons. they are what Boris Karloff added to his version of Frankenstien's Monster. it could be a strike to the neck that would be super deadly. it's kinda campy and gruesome and classic horror movie creature.
