after about 30 hours... this is how it looks like...i love how this portrait depicts every human emotion - pain and anguish, hopelessness, exhaustion from hunger and thirst... all human suffering

medium: pencil WITHOUT the aid of brush this time
duration: 25 hours so far
dimension: when finished - A4
this is about 95% done but i think its beautiful enough to upload it on the internet... after scanning i noticed the shade in the neck is insufficient, so as the shirt... i have to smoothen some strokes coz its still visible in close up... im really proud of this one... its quite scary to use a different type of paper from the usual coz i thought it'll be very hard for me to use the eraser... and yeah just as i thought its much harder to use a mechanical pencil as far as my technique in making shades for the hair is concern... yet im happy with this one... great expression... i actually feel sad when im looking at his eyes

This is just amazing! You have managed to capture the pain and anguish of a deteriorating Frodo so perfectly. It could easily have been something you find on a behind the scenes disk but you take quality to a whole new level

This is utterly incredible: I'm amazed at how detailed, how like him it is. I really like the hair, it looks so real, I honestly thought this was a photograph of Elijah Wood when I first saw this. I also really like the nose, it's very well defined and I think it especially shows off the great shading in this.

hair is so troublesome... at first i shaded it with graphite but i didn't like the result so i have to erase it all over again just to make new strands out of mechanical pencil which is more hard... but the results are very good... thanks for your time
