well ill do my best... the thing is im not an expert and most of the time i only experiment on what works for me... i use brush for my shading and soft pastel... i don't use cotton, neither my fingers

LOL! You work a lot like me I guess. I don't use cotton or my fingers(it smuges and sets into the paper-which is not good to have happen) I'm mostly self taught or as I like to say God-taught.

It's really more than just good. Especially the details on the wristband are stunning.
It looks 100% like Orlando. <3 I only miss a bit of detail on the lips, but now I'm over-critical. 
The shadows! Gosh. I love the shadows.... And the hair is simply Lovely!
