trust me, i have experience all of those..
and if you notice a certain deviation of mine concerns with a girl.. well that over now.. i focus is now on developing my work..

and NO you are not old, well i think age does not matter because i have a lot of friends who really are way to old(grandpa type) but still bother to talk to me, i really do see that if you choose to become a true artist then your social life may be limited.. and only those who understand you are the only ones you can have a conversation with.... ^^

complete and total devotion X(

but its so rewarding!! when you get something just right(at the time at least) and you make some type of breakthrough-its alll worth it
then there's those times where you couldn't draw a stick man to save your life

wrinkles are fun to render! that and scales and teeth and anything else full of detail---great for a meditation-like state imo

greyscale first is great if you aren't sure you're going to colour it all all
although I like to adjust my greyscale to a monochromatic colour in hue/adjust in pshop (with colourise 'on' before colouring it up
