this is my newest Commission I did for Klamnei

Here is what they say about the scene I have portrayed for them.

This pic is intended as a sequel/prequel to the one with Velvet.

While Night did have initial (mostly pragmatic) concerns regarding Spike's adoption, it didn't take him long to fall head over hooves in love with the little guy. Night was soon busting out storage containers of baby toys and refreshing their wards. He took new family photos and put them out on display. His query at the library for info on dragons didn't come up with much (it's stated in the show ponies basically know NOTHING about them) but a discussion with Celestia fixed that, as well. She pulled every string she had to get copies of rare books from other countries -- Saddle Arabia, Griffinstone, Mount Aris, even the distant Dream Valley sent something. It wasn't a complete collection of knowledge by any means, but it was enough for Night (and Velvet) to provide for their new baby boy.

Doing Slice of Life images like this never tires for me, so thank you Klamnei for giving me the chance to do more of them.
