Description I really wanna make a story to this, progressing the training of Kanasta (the horse in the bg), but I'm in no mood for writing at the moment, and if I didn't upload this now, I might forget it ^^'

Anyway, just some experiment with the lighting, 'cus we all gotta go through that

Edit: Anyone who reads the entire story gets a cookie : D

Story:
Kanasta, the chestnut trakehner mare had come to Wedgewood earlier that summer. She arrived from Nattviks rescue center, and the only they knew about her was that she was afraid of almost anything. There where no way of knowing if she had even been ridden, or what had happened to her in the past that had made her the way she was. All they could do was to take the time that they needed, for this horse to get well.

Caroline Williams was finally getting back on her feet, so to speak, after that nasty fall she had with Elizabeth. That had left her with three broken ribs, a broken arm and concussion, which made her pretty much useless in the stable. She couldn’t do any work or ride, as long as her bones weren’t healed, so when her concussion got better and her ribs allowed her to move freely, her job was to get close to Kanasta. This was the perfect task, not just for Caroline, but for Kanasta too. Caroline got something to do with her time, so she didn’t feel completely useless, but since she was handicapped she couldn’t do much more than to just be around Kanasta. Even if her patient run out she didn’t have much choice than to stay put, trying to get a halter on her, or even just pet her, was out of the question.

The training was doing great. Kanasta was finally starting to trust Caroline a bit more, she could pet her neck and body, she even figured out that the mare had a ticklish stomach, but she couldn’t get near her face. That made it hard to but a halter on, so that was still a task unfinished. With time Carolines injuries got better, and she could function like a normal human being. This made the whole training process a lot easier for her, as she could take the training a step up. Even though Kanasta was still skeptical about Caro (and every other human being), her curiosity had grown bigger. At good days Caroline managed to get a rope around her neck and lead her around, without the mare protesting, that is before a leaf flew up or one of the horses neighed a bit too high.

After the fall and winter came, and Caroline had gotten to the point with Kanasta where she could lead her out of the pasture, they spent a lot of time in the riding hall. Even though it wasn’t especially warm in there, it was at least dry. She had let her run around in the new environment, while she herself just sat there, watching the mare. This day however she would like to see how Kanasta reacted when another horse were in her present.

Caroline brushed over the bay coat of the new stallion in their stables. Benjamin Brown was a Norwegian Warmblood they had bought from Hardy Stud. The wonderful stallion seemed to have a great future in front of him, as a dressage horse. Caroline finally managed to get the bridle on Benji. It was a difficult task every time, as the stallion was very sensitive when it came to his ears. Kanasta was already in the riding hall, when Caroline opened the gate and walked in with Benji. Both horses looked curiously at each other, and Benji took a few steps towards her before the bit stopped him. Kanasta on the other hand stood still in the corner, not showing any interest in coming closer.

Caroline started lounging Benji, first in a quick paced walk, then in trot, while she did her best to ignore Kanasta. The mare kept herself in the background mort of the time, only towards the end she dared to come closer, seeming more interested in the stallion.
