When I'm done coloring everything, I select the layer I want a pattern on, then I go to the top of the photoshop window and click "layer". Then I head down my options and click on "pattern overlay". A new window pops up and you should see a few options. Where it says "Blend Mode" make sure to put it on "overlay" otherwise it will look completely wrong. And from there you just mess with all the different setting and patterns until you like it!c:
