Description I guess this is kind of "old" now. I did it months ago, but the Cereal Geek issue it appears in didn't get published until recently. If you haven't checked out the Cereal Geek mag, it's HAWT.

Anyway, the assignment was to recreate classic XMEN comic covers using the assigned character set. So we have a recreation of John Byrne's SICK Uncanny XMEN #137 using Thundarr and Ariel. Hope ya dig it, it was fun to do!

I'm faving this just because the concept and execution are brilliant! And it's my favorite cartoon from childhood combined with my favorite issue of X-Men!

Dude, this is a brilliant idea. Can we see it in full color?
In any case this is a fantastic concept, super original and true to the style of comic books

This is really good. Loved this cartoon as a kid. And love the line work and the attention to detail in this homage now. Having the cracked moon in place of the Earth is well done too.Β I was hoping to see a hidden face like in the original X-Men cover. I might have missed it though.Β

Thundarr is my god - so I guess that makes you...like the Pope or something. You know...spreading the word. Keep on preachin' on!

Thundarr is seriously my favorite all time cartoon of my youth. It was so over the top and insane, with great character design. I always wanted to see something new done with the property. This is as good as it gets... Where is Ukla the Mok and his wacky ass Eel Horse?
