Description Twilight Sparkle's costume for Nightmare Night was Star Swirl the Bearded. Sadly they didn't actually show a picture of him, but knowing Twilight as the OCD perfectionist that she is I'm sure she got all the details down right.

This is my rendition of Star Swirl the Bearded, based off of Twilight Sparkle's costume but redrawn in a similar manner. The fact that Luna knew about Star Swirl meant that he was around before her banishment, so over 1000 years ago in Equestria.
