Description "Out of clutter, find simplicity. From discord, find harmony. In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity." - Albert Einstein

Another concept image that follows my last image, The Native Contingency.

Deep below the ruins of the alien cities of the Eridanus world, something still lives. What the newly arrived colonists discover will not only change their destinies, but will set in motion far-reaching events that will effect humanity's future in the universe.

M4 character made in Poser; suit from Xurge3d.com; objects created by in Hexagon; assembled and rendered in Vue; postwork done in Photoshop.

Thanks again to all of our friends who graciously follow our erratic images and work-in-progress story for this project. We are writing, writing, writing, all in what little spare time we have, and illustrating our thoughts and concepts with these images. It's a pure thrill to do this, and even more fun sharing it! Perhaps soon we will have everything compiled and polished for the press.

Thanks, bud! That's one of those images that just created itself -- everything fell into place, and I didn't have to do my usual twenty different renders to get it just so. I'm so glad you liked it!

Hey no problem. you have phenomenal stuff!
Lol I love ti when that happens. "When everything falls in place that is"
to be honest most of my
stuff is rendered like twenty times as well due to me being
my own critic.

And there... is the "Ray of Hope"! I love this piece and your Einstein quote is PERFECT! The background in your scene is spectacular! Gigantic greebles or is it an actual model? Beautiful for the scene, and I can definitely see the "behind the scenes" Ryan in this too :::wink::: LOVE it!

Thank you so much, Vee!

hehe Yes, it speaks volumes, that ray of hope! And I spent way too much time hunting for the best quote, and just when I was ready to throw in the towel, ole Einstein reached out and grabbed me. Yeah, those are actually buildings that BjΓΆrn made for the regular decrepit old Eridani city, but I retextured and flipped them upside-down and laid them this way and that. I love skewing and recycling objects in new ways.

You're very welcome Ryan, it is a really beautiful piece, and that's how it works sometimes you know, how Einstein came out and grabbed you ;-P It was perfect! I love to recycle things too, and you did a spectacular job of it, the scene just really became so mysterious and wickedly cool! I'm impressed as always ;-P Your images never cease to amaze me!

I love the scale and proportions of everuthing in this image. The environment looks so huge and it feels like it is filled with so much adventure. I love everything about this image, and there is something that I ΓΌber-like The ground and especially what is going on behind his feet with the light and reflections. It is great! I love how the image turned out. It is epic!!!!
