I made this OC back in October and then my computer died and I lost all the WIPS I had of her and then forgot her until now....

But here she is anyway! Marisol! She's special because she's a half human/half siren

Marisol's mother was a human and her father was a siren. They met by chance on land and hit it off well except for one thing: Marisol's mother would go on and on about how much she hated sirens, without realizing that her boyfriend was one. And he didn't dare tell her out of fear that she would break up with him.

Unfortunately, the truth slipped out by accident one day and Marisol's mother DID abandoned her father over it, realizing in shock a few months later that she was pregnant with Marisol. Not wanting to take care of a part siren child, she abandoned Marisol in the care of her grandmother after she was born and left, never to return for even a visit. All she gave her daughter was her name and nothing else.

Marisol's human grandmother luckily loves her granddaughter and takes good care of her, even letting her embrace the few siren traits she has. She just wants her to grow up happy and well~
