Just tried to figure out the racial diversity of some of my other sirens
Nerissa comes from a long line of Black sirens (Her mother, father, and extended family are all Black) Jin's family is Asian, and Tane is mixed race, being a combo of white/Melanesian
What's Melanesian? It's the only black race in which blond is found naturally in genetics, as seen here 1.bp.blogspot.com/-EXbb79SQj4w…
Oliver and Merida don't look nearly as Melanesian as Tane tho.

I like how you add racial diversity to your characters - it makes them more interesting and actually kind of connects them to real life in a way!
