I'm very curious to see how they handle the height issue in 2020.Until then, I'm looking forward to Rodan, Mothra, and the other King.

well in Skull Island, Kong is just a teenager by his species' standards and not fully-grown. but even at his current height, he's already way quicker and more agile and is intelligent enough to use tools.

He's not, the Showa version is the more heroic Godzilla, but not this one. I mean are we just going to ignore the tsunami he generated that killed dozens and many more in his first fight, the people that didn't make it when he rammed through the Golden Gate, and God knows the bodycount spread all over San Francisco. He doesn't care about humans, he just wanted to kill the MUTOs, everyone that was killed was just in the way. Hero just doesn't fit for Godzilla, best fitting is either villain or antihero, which is the case here.

Actually I mean this version of Godzilla is more heroic than his Millennium,Heisei and Shin counterparts. Another thing is this Godzilla never retaliates against the humans when they attack him,even when he was somewhat harmed by a missile striking his gills. Destroying the Golden Gate Bridge and causing a tsunami was completely unintentional. This is the second time Godzilla does not intentionally destroy buildings. While I agree Godzilla does not generally care about the humans's well-being,he also does not see them as worth-destroying,even thought they fire at him. Gamera (who was suppose to be a completely heroic kaiju) destroyed many more buildings and killed many more humans ,than this Godzilla did, when he fought the Gyaos. Heck even Superman from "Man of Still" destroyed much more buildings and killed even more humans in his fight with Zod than this Godzilla did.

Still, LegendaryGoji is technically an antihero, he doesn't care about humanity in any way, we're just a bunch of ants in his way.

Well thanks to KOTM, its safe to assume he's more of a hero (Or at least not as Anti heroic as you might say)Β he gave the humans a βOKΒ I trust youβ face after Seraziwa recharged him with a bomb and literally marched alongside the military to fight KG together, hell he didnβt even try killing Seraizwa when entering his lair, and in the newspapers it says he's keeping the titans at bay for the environment and humanities sake (Tho some titans help the environment too)Β
Granted one of the characters said for now about his allianceΒ with humanity, but thatΒ just paranoia at best. Oh and theres a whole underground temple for him with texts and pics of humans outright worshipping him, suggesting some kind of bond between them.Β Β Β Β Β Β Β

Yes, ancient civilizations used to worship Godzilla and other members of his kind and doesn't attack Monarch after his rebirth, but the small dialogue at the end of the movie "Rick: 'Good thing he's on our side'; Chen: 'For now." should not be taken lightly and despite the more heroic portrayal of Godzilla this time around, he's still an anti-hero.

Actually it is confirmed that Kong isΒ an adolescent and is not fully grown yet,he'll grow much bigger by the time he fights Godzilla in 2020.

which is dumb, because by primate scaling this would mean he was a toddler in the movie.
Also the bones of his parents didn't look much bigger than him.
Honestly if he stays about the size of the Male Muto he still has a fighting chance...well so long as his durability goes WAY UP.

Well Kong does age slowly and he does live longer then an average human.
Also he could grow larger than his parents,there are people today who can grow over 3 meters tall,which is extremely rare.
Also Kong would not need to rely on durability when he would have the speed and agility to dodge Godzilla's Atomic Breath.

I honestly want him to stay smaller, no bigger than the Male Muto, so things like his leaping around don't look "too" outlandish, and it becomes a "David vs Goliath" kind of battle where Kong is using his speed and intelligence.
Although I hope/expect Kong and Godzilla to end up on the same side against a mutual threat. Neither in this setting are the bad guys. In the old 1960's movie Godzilla was still a villain, but this time both are benevolent protectors of their domain *albeit ruthless, animalistic, and their sheer size and strength makes them a danger to people in general*
