Description Fimo Soft polymer clay, Crystals by Swarovski, PearlEx mica powder, Strathmore Sketch book.

I made these to sell at an upcoming convention.
I might sell them online once I figure out a safe and economical way to mail them .They're rather large and heavy and AusPost is quite unforgiving.

The books are 8 x 5.5 inches.

These covers are entirely handmade. I made all the textures myself, even if some of them were just done by artistically crumpling greaseproof paper.

It takes me about 2 days to complete one of these.

These are amazing, i saw the other silver one as well. Are the leaf textures hand made or a stamp? I have made two journals my self and am hoping to make more complex ones that are lovely like this one.

Thank you!
The leaf texture is a hand made stamp. I made it as a texture sheet out of scrap polymer clay. Then I sprayed water on it and pressed it into the clay sheet for the cover .

Journals are a nice change of pace, I'm usually making much smaller objects. All the best for your projects .

to make that by hand is really awesome! should consider selling stamps as well.

Thanks! Maybe once I get the texture stamps themselves to look a little better, I might sell them .

These journals are epic. They look like they are made of beaten metal rather than clay. And 8 x 5.5 is a nice size for a sketchbook to carry around.

I understand about the shipping. That's part of the reason I only make miniature things out of clay, to keep shipping prices reasonable.

Thanks .

Haha shipping is exactly the reason why everything else I do has to be under 2cm, it lets me use a cheap letter rate. I considered mini journals but it probably wouldn't be worth it since parcel rates from my country are way exorbitant. These bigger books are a little more economical.
