I add another childhood tribute to the 1998 Godzilla movie, I personally remember this movie 😊 for being the first approach to the Kaiju genre in cinemas; In this first American version of the producer "Tristar Pictures" to represent "Godzilla" the origin and appearance of the king of the Kaijus was modified. ("Toho" allows these changes according to the director, for this reason so many different Gojira designs.)
In this adaptation "Godzilla" is the product of a nuclear mutation on an egg of marine iguana reaching 90 meters high by 180 meters in length, its appearance reminds of theropod dinosaurs with a slight humanoid appearance, their dorsal fins resemble a Shark in decreasing form.
His Personality is neutral and guided by his survival instinct (he likes to eat fish) in a situation of danger is usually cunning when counterattacking or very elusive both at sea and on land.
Among its strangest abilities is its asexual or hermaphrodite reproduction (it is male and female at the same time and can lay fertilized eggs where young animals will be born that inherit this same ability.) Even with all these characteristics, its greatest weakness is the heavy artillery of the forces military
Being a very drastic redesign in appearance as in concept for King Godzilla, Toho claimed the rights to his franchise to separate "God-zilla" from "Zilla" by placing this new Kaiju as a related subspecies that they confused with the King.
