Hey guys, Jspeed384 here! It's been quite awhile, I know, but, you can never rush a good job, or creativity. Anyway. This is a little something I had been working on before my long absence from dA and worked very hard to make it the best that I could make it look before I came back. Two other drawings followed after this but, I'll get to those sometime later.Welp. Ahhh, it's good to be back.
Anyhow. Some details on this. I wanted to see if I could still draw something, I wanted this to be something I uploaded to show that I'm still drawing and stuff, and I wanted to try some new things that I learned since I started this, and since I've been gone awhile.
Honestly, I'm very excited with how this came out, and hope to get good feedback from it. It took a good month and a half, couple months to complete, so, it feels good to carve out something. I guess I'm, kinda glad to have gotten some time by myself to focus on some things that, I lost focus on. And learn some things too.
Well uh... How about, some more drawing details? Umm... I changed his shoes to something unique. Thought they'd, look cool, ahem. Uhh, this is the first time I've shaded Sonic in one of my drawings. It, took me awhile to angle his hands just right, or at least to me liking. First time angling them like this. Took me some time to angle him and everything the best I could. And I'm hoping I did well enough.
Well, anywhoo. Anything you find interesting about this drawing, mention it to me if you'd like. Feedback's always good y'know? And It'd be nice after being away for so long.

Hedgy-kun, every time you reveal your drawings like this for everyone to see, i'm honestly overwhelmed with happiness, without fail. Every single time I see an image from you, it just makes me smile, and this one did for sure. I see that you're starting to really polish up your own Sonic style and improve with quite a lot of things; I think this is what makes me happy the most. Sonic looks great, his pose, the positioning, the expression, the proportions... I can tell you've worked hard to make him look good. >w< The quills look as if they are brushed down slightly and this somehow gives him a peaceful look. You're still doing so well with the hands, the shines of the eyes and particularly the shading. It almost looks like a grey-scale version because of the lighter shade of the shoes, blended with the darker shading of his fur. ^w^ Really lovely job~ 
It's great to see some art from you after so long, J. Well done with this one, and welcome back yet again...

Aww well you know, I try... Anyway, I'm really flattered Sissy, I really am. I appreciate your feedback as always. I'm sorry for taking so long to reply though. I was, really touched, and didn't know how to respond. I didn't want to say anything that wasn't meaningful, or didn't feel meaningful. It's funny though, the entire time the picture was in development, I was thinking of how'd you respond to it, and I was always thinking, positively. I'm glad I was right. But anyway, besides all that. I'm REALLY glad you like it so much. Really makes my day. And puts a smile on my face. Thank you hedgy-chan. Thank you.
