Description
This is my second attempt at painting power weapons and I am pretty pleased with the result. The model itself is Astorath The Grim, of the Blood Angels, though I have painted him in Ultramarines colors.I play an army I call "Alpha Company" of the Ultramarines and because of the mechanized options of the Blood Angels Codex I use it from time to time.

hey nice work. the highlighting on his armour is extremely impressive and for only your second attempt at power weapons...... not too shabby at all

Much appreciated. I am not a huge fan of the paint change at GW (because the colors don't 100% match the old ones) however I used my old stuff and a few of the new ones to get some nice highlighting going on. The sad part is once I run out of my old stuff I cannot match this 100%
