I think this is the 3rd color scheme for the Sons of Horus that i've seen. Love it, but just wish they'd come up with a consistant color for them. Right now its either them or the Dark Angels im trying for.

That is a Space Marine vehicle, not a variant of the Imperial Guard Bane Blade. This is a pre-heresy unit.

can never make my mind up weather i like the pre heresy stuff but i do know i love that gun it looks awesome. and such a nice paint job

i think my problem with it is that a lot of it is a revamp of the 2nd edition 40k designs, i understand why this has been done as nostalgia = money with this kind of franchise but i find a lot of it just plain ugly.

I agree to an extent. Some of it is gorgeous and the designs, while a throwback to the original, are fantastic. I personally just don't like some of the aesthetics. However some of the models I don't like, others rave over, guess it is all a matter of personal preference.

I feel like the opinions on Heresy era models are about as varied as opinions on army paint schemes.
