I LOVED GI Joe as a kid and couldn't wait to see the GI Joe movie! Don't worry, I had low expectations for it. And even though I didn't like everything they did with it, I still had fun watching it. After all, it was a movie based on a wacky cartoon that was based on a toyline. Again, didn't really have high expectations for it. :-P

The movie also got me nostalgic. I rewatched GI Joe Resolute (LOVE it), then backtracked waaay back to the original cartoons. Been taking my time rewatching the adventures of the highly trained special mission force whose purpose is to defend freedom against COBRA, a ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world. :-P

I initially did a graytone sketch of Scarlett in her GI Joe Resolute outfit (liked it better than her outfit in the movie) but drew her gun from the movie. Then turned it into a mock movie poster.
