Continuing my exploration of covers from the old Marvel Planet of the Apes magazine. This is issue 3. Holy Moly was it challenging! Drawing little characters is not something I've practiced much. I just really love the way these original artists used color and lighting in these.Related content

Yeah, all those Marvel B&W magazines had really great painted covers. I also really love all the "Savage Sword of Conan" covers.
