Description
Some designs and sketches for Shakespeare's Romeo & Juliet. A dream I have is to take over Disney studios and produce a traditionally animated Romeo & Juliet musical, Disneyfied ending and all. Of course, this work here is far too amateur. But hopefully I'll get there some day....Though I'm sure I'm highly influenced by Franco Zeffirelli. SHOUT OUT.
Some are colored to get a sense of some of the schemes. I... got too lazy to give EVERY character a base. What a hassle, please.

How adorable. Yes, an animation is just what we need. Well, The Lion King 2 is inspired by R&J, but that isn't enoughΒ There also was an animated R&J about seals, but it was too comic and, at least for me, lacked heart. And of course in "Animated Shakespeare" series there was a R&J episode, but it was a short, and I would want a feature length!

ZEFFIRELLI WAS THE BEST! Just sayin...XD I watched the the Baz Luhrmann version in English, then I watched the Zeffirelli...Zeffirelli won by far! XD But this is brilliant!

I love how Benvolio and Tybalt look.I'm probably the only one in my class whom has Tybalt as my fvorite character.And when we saw the scene of the movie where Romeo fights Tybalt,I silently rooting for him.

I'll help you get it off the ground!! C'mon: it's a VERY slim chance that you'll EVER take over Disney, so I'll make you an offer: no one has the rights to Romeo and Juliet, so you can use the animation group I started (Looking Glass Animation Studios: "Find thou the means, and I'll find such a man." Romeo And Juliet, "No Fear Shakespeare" Edition, Act 3, Scene 5, Line 103: though in this context, I mean that if you can do the art for it, I'll help to find the voice actors, animators, producers, company, and all the other folks you'll need to make this production stand out and make the movie charts...!!!!!)

YEAH... taking over Disney does seem unlikely to happen. But I'd still really, really like to work for them. So I'll stick with that goal for now, thanks for the offer though!
