Description
One of my first watercolors made after a break of many years for professional reasons. Walking through the Gibraltar Marina, this old fishing boat caught my attention, which had been docked and semi-abandoned for some time. I have always found it more attractive from an artistic point of view, aged objects than new ones. Rust, mold or dirt give an extra personality, a story behind the object that makes it unique.Not all paints "age" well. With the passage of time we usually change our style or we simply learn or evolve in the applied techniques. Very happy with the final result of this watercolor and how over the years it continues to be to my liking.
Original watercolor made on thick Guarro Watercolor paper, 240 gr. Size 20 x 30 cm. Year 2004.
