Description
First painting that I created in a large format, which had a direct impact on the technique and finish. I came across this motif on social media and soon realized it contained all the features a visually look for: contrast of color and light, of shapes and lines, sensation of depth, backgrounds, … perhaps it lacked some human element to give it more life.

This painting has great sentimental value since my father's hospitalization and death occurred during its completion. While in the hospital i showed him photos of the process and he commented or criticized what he liked and what he didn't. After his death, I had this painting on the drawing board for months without being able to continue it as it broke me emotionally. Ending it was part of the overcoming process and a psychological tool to cope with mourning.
