We think it, we just don't say it because showing your narcissism makes you vulnerable, therefore to appear stoic and less easy to damage we try and be all stoic and blind to our own appearances at least while still freely drooling over attractive female appearances. Though obviously we see them as desirable in their own right, beauty is beauty, but it comes with a price, physical weakness.
