Description
Finished coloring my Joan character re-design. I tried to stay true to military/tactical clothing with a lot of muted/matte greens/grays/blues. Some intrigue hopefully in regards to her purplish energy, and the goggles. I felt like i forgot how to color for a moment there, but made it through ok I think.I'm eager to make an actual piece instead of a character design next, so we'll see what i can come up with.

Done in Procreate, on my iPad Pro.
EDIT: Changed the hair streaks to purple/blue to match her power color, made more sense background wise.

What inspired her design?

She's got a little bit of everything military/ninja inspired I think. From Ghost in the Shell, to Neon Genesis, and most recently for me Metal Gear Solid.

I'd love to see an actual piece with this character in, she looks mysterious and alluring. I also get the feeling she's not someone you really want to mess with unless you intend to end up in a body bag! Have you considered colouring in your comic by the way? It'd really bring it to life and your skills are clearly at that level.

Glad you liked this character, A Joan piece is definitely next on my to-do list. Working out the sketch now actually.
My story however is continuing to evolve now that I'm a bit older and wiser, and I have so many more ideas for it. As useful as my original comic attempt was 8 years ago, I would want to change most of it now. Might start a new one in the future however, might even color it too...
