Another piece I was working on while recovering from the last flu. She's a female version of the Sandman. This was a result of doodling and drawing without putting much thought into planning.

It's beautful. I love her staff! And the colors are amazing. The details on her dress are beautiful too.

Thanks! I just found out that I've been using quite a bit of gray in those three recent artworks, ! But luckily my next two have a bit more color.

You're welcome! And there's nothing wrong with grey. ;D Sometimes there are just days when certain colors just stick.

Your imagination just blows me away. Love the details, always what makes your work stand out. I'm always trying to find the threads in your paintings that lead me back to the original ideal. You got me on this one though. I love the umbrella, not sure how dry it would keep me though....great work, thank you for sharing...

This one was just random doodling then adding things in after I get an idea of the "story". The staff she's holding is basically a cloud on a stick with stars hanging off it, lol. I didn't mean to make it look like an umbrella! Thanks for your comments and fave

Beautiful and dreamy.

What palatte do you use? I mean, like Pantone whatever? I would love to get my work to look like this but have never been able to achieve it as well as you.

I love it.

Thank you! And thanks for the fave!

I have the Pantone Solid Coated or DIC Color Guide in the Swatches tab up but only for some selective colors. I normally start off with base layer of colors to get an idea of what palette I want, then work from there. For me, it's a bit of trial and error get the look. For example, originally I wanted her dress to appear a darker pinkish gray but later ended up with the blueish green because I wanted it to stand out more. So I changed its Hue (or recolor it).
