Description I don't post nearly enough WIPs.. or 2D art.  I should work on that. Here is an egg with an eyeball stitched on.

So, I'm making a plush Grem2 as part of a trade. I spent so many months not doing any art of any kind while I helped my terribly sick parents.  That situation is much better so I have all the time now.  This head is going to feature a custom dye job using alcohol based dyes. He's mostly all white though, which works well as a pallet - not sure how this type of dye application would fair on other color minky. This is missing various parts, like embroidery, ears, nostrils, cheek fluff. OH AND A BLEP BLEP TOUNGE ATTACHED WITH MAGNETS.

I think I hate myself? I made individual finger beans which are two parts each and both have a dart.  It's gonna be great though.

Aside from being excited about the opportunity to do a *really simple and forgiving* dye job on this minky (Which i did some tests on scraps for softness and colorfastness, which all passed as long as I brushed as I went it was heat set) I REALLY WANT TO KNOW if anyone has any interest in free patterns?!!

A few friends know I want to focus more on pattern publication - in that same vein I went back and forth with a CS owner about the moral issues involved with *selling* a pattern of someone else's CS - So I figured maybe make those patterns free? I mean I spend a lot of time making nice patterns that get used infrequently. The stickler is maybe not a lot of instruction? More basic than my pay2use patterns. And it's not exactly a simple pattern.  There are some oddly placed darts and fussy hand sewing that might turn off someone with a lower skill level and patience.  Although as this pattern sits it's friendy towards someone who doesn't have an embroidery machine.

If my shark pattern was any indication, it takes more effort to make sure I explain the procedure correctly than it did making the plush itself. Maybe it'll get easier...

The thing I've noticed about the grem2 is the body is a pretty generic dragon/bird footed humanoid body? I wanted to make a few anthro doll patterns for sale in the future so perhaps the torso would be pay2use and then grem specific head, arms, ears etc would be free? Or maybe I can think about this more later. Could get complicated...

But opinions on the topic are greatly appreciated.

Here's the egg front XD sta.sh/0xkqkfl1y6m

I'm of to buy tacos maybe...
