Description DOWNLOAD THE PDF PLEASE XD I want you to have the correct file when printing in Adobe Reader.

Ok. Page 1.
I understand this might be a bit unorthodox but I don't have an example to show at the moment. I have an example in progress but I wanted to get this out.
I started this pattern over a month ago.  Things have been rough for me lately, I've had to take up a full time job to help my family make ends meet and it hass severely cut into my crafting time.

The SAFE event inspired me to get this out to the group sooner.

Disclaimers: This is not beginner friendly.  I tried to make it somewhat intuitive for people with sewing experience. But I absolutely know there will be questions. I can and will be open to questions and recommendations for making this pattern better.

This pattern is only a base.  No pillow tail, no ears yet. I am working on some common ears. THIS PATTERN DOES NOT INCLUDE SEAM ALLOWANCE. You will need to add your own.

Download the PDF then open in Adobe Reader and in setting print at 100%. Trim the margins and match up the diamonds with the empty interiors.  You can print in poster and enlarge the size but I really cannot give you to many recommendations other that "write down what % you enlarge it to." And of curse carefully trim the margins and tape together.

The corners that match up are labeled with letters, numbers for the head. I recommend using a Pilot brand FriXion pen to trace the pattern on the back of your fabric (minky recommended) then write the letters on the corners. Frixion pens are awesome and were recommended to me by I also started this pattern to help her out and to go with the head pattern i drafted out for her.
Writing all the information you possibly can onto the fabric pieces will help you pin up your work. I tried to make it as intuitive as possible but I know it'll be a bit rough.  Match up notches where applicable.  I tried to label any notches with letters that correspond to a seam. Also if your seams don't seem to fit together well - ie: one side seems too long vs the other side - do you're best to ease the seam together. The 'make it fit' philosophy.  I helps to be precise when tracing and cutting.

When I trace and cut out my work I trace on the wrong side of the fabric, flip it, and trace again. This is applicable to anything that says. "cut 2"  This helps me from wasting material.  Just make sure you're careful about the pile direction. The arrows indicate what direction the minky pile should go.

I suggest sewing up the darts first.  And I always recommend basting vs pinning. I know it takes a little longer but it helps me a ton.
You may make and sell commissions from this pattern.  My only request is to give me credit for the pattern.

I made the stuffed animal with the base and sent to modify the size to a more acceptable, I recommend cutting the neck and part of the chest before dialing because it is very long.

I almost finish it, I'm only missing the ears and tail.
What would be the pile direction for standart ears? The pile facing down?

What is the nose backing piece?

The nose was drafted to be a separate part. After you sew together the main nose bits you would loosely whipstich (or whatever stitch you'd like) the felt backing to the back with a very narrow seam allowance. Kinda like a little nose pillow.  Stuff it before you close it, then pin the nose in your desired place on the snout.  I usually do a puppet/muppet stitch to attach separate parts like that but a ladder stitch is fine.

This is neat. Do you have an example of the plush put together?

I don't currently, no. I apologize about that. I am in the middle of a test.

I use a method to draft my patterns that involves sculpting the shape I want, covering the sculpture with foil and tape, and pulling the pattern from that. I've been pretty successful with it. When I get a chance I can take a photo of the sculpt I did - although it looks pretty rough now. That way you can get a look at the basic shape.
