Beautiful and dreamy. .. it spoke to me instantly.
This was a sort of.. "vision" I had a few years ago, standing at the top of my back steps - I wrote it down because it struck me so hard.
"I felt like a tree with my feet rooted into the stairs, only the stairs were old. But there was no earth there, so I felt like my roots were dying - but I thought that even if my roots are dying, I can still reach my branches up into the clouds and latch myself to the sky. And if I hold on tight enough to the clouds, my roots can rot away beneath me and I'll be left floating in the heavens, swinging by my fingertips."
People and trees just seem to go together.
