Thanks so much. Actually you would probably like this place it is an old ghost town in Nevada. Lots of it has been restored though so it is really not that scarey

LOL, I didn't start painting until my kids left the nest, and so I do believe that you can go as far as you want with the medium, and you are NEVER too old! Thanks for the compliment

Thank you! I love to paint with just two colours sometimes, in this case ultramarine blue and burnt sienna, of course, there are the greens and a few subtle pinks and violets here too. Thanks for taking the time to view and comment!

Thank you so much Sara! Yes, this is from an old mining town in Nevada that has become a historical site. About 50 people live there full time and many people go there from all over to see it. This old homestead sits next to an old bar and bed and breakfast that I will paint at a later date, I just love to go to these old places and paint the things of the past, it is so much fun for me!
