Very nice! I love the positive shapes you created for the hair. Maybe a little bit too much glare...but it's not killing the composition. Still, I really like this piece.

Ooh, too much glare as in? I appreciate your input So pls lemme know what ya mean so i can keep it in mind next time. And what is "positive shapes"? Ima noob -.-

Ooh, too much glare as in? The area around the collarbone. I felt maybe it could be brought back (toned down) a pinch. It's not so much to where it hurt the eyes...but with the flat orange in the background, it's not as strong as the glare highlights in the hair (the black balances it nicely there). Hopefully I'm making sense here (if not, let me know). And what is "positive shapes"?Ima noob -.- Positive and Negative shapes are the foreground and background of the composition. Positive shapes are the objects of the composition, and their placement helps them construct the background, or the negative shapes for the matter. The black block for the hair is the positive shape, while the strokes in the black (where the orange shows up) represents the negative shapes. You can see more about that here: Form, Shape, Space. It's a great knowledge to know, it allows you to push and play with the shapes. I appreciate your input Anytime. Sorry for not replying sooner.

oooh thanks a bunch! I see what you mean about the glare, but i do like it that way, it's in the place of flames, which i was too lazy to draw but i will keep that in mind for next time.Very interesting about the shapes, im checking out that site now, ty for link!
