I started drawing this last sometime last month, before E3, but I couldn't get it done before I went on my trip, so... here it is now! I'm super stoked for A Link Between the Worlds.I also think Link is SO cute with pink hair (I know it was only his sprite that had pink hair, but that's just soooo cute!!!)
And it's also really cute when Zelda's taller than Link, so I drew her a bit taller. And I REALLY love the Master Sword from LttP. It looks so colorful!
I musta painted that pyramid like.... 50 times. This woulda been done forever ago if it weren't for that pyramid.

Ah, Pink Link, I remember looking at his Sprite too and thinking the exact same thing!Β I then go to look at the Instruction Manual and see he has Blond Hair, a few years later, I learned it was done since certain colours on the SNES take up more byte space than other colours do, at least I think that's the reason so!

Princess Zelda's Sprite actually had Brown Hair in ALTTP.

It's still a different color than Link's undershirt, so there's no reason not to use it for his hair if his hair was meant to be dirty blonde.

How are there no comments on this, this is epic! I love the style of the characters, I love your coloring, I love their expressions, I love the background! The pyramid came out amazingly, it's so kick ass how you have the pink clouds around it, and the throw back to the official art of the Triforce against the golden sky!

Ah, thank you so much! I was actually referencing that old official art of the Triforce where it's against a red sun (cos I thought that was really cool), and I really kept in mind that whole thing that in the Sacred Realm, "the sky shines gold, not blue."
